Simple Sunday

Yesterday, Sunday, was an easy going (and sunny! yay!) day. Brian and I ventured out to Costco because we have a gift card. I use the present tense "have" because we forgot to use it! The whole reason we went was to use the card and we completely forgot. All well...next time. Once we got home and put away the goodies that were purchased we wanted to check out Fremont so we took a little drive North. It was a lovely time and I was able to catch a couple photos that I thought were good at the time...turns out they are pretty grainy. Dang.

Date Night

Last night Brian and I went out on the town for a nice date. Originally Brian and I were going to venture out to Capitol Hill but we missed that bus and didn't want to wait 30 min for the next one so we just headed downtown instead since that bus comes more frequently. We decided to be complete tourists and go on the new ferris wheel since it was a pretty clear night. It was pricey but it was worth it to do just once. And now's the time before all the tourists start pouring in. After our ride we were pretty hungry so we walked back up to 1st street and tried a sushi place called Japonessa. The food was pretty good, the atmosphere was great and we had a grand time. 

Some of my favorite segments that Ellen Degeneres does on her show features this girl Amy and this one is particularly awkward/amazing.
