I came across a taco recipe on Pinterest that was super easy so I decided to give it a whirl. This was the first time I have ever made shredded chicken and was super happy it turned out just as yummy as the picture looked. Here's the recipe:
1 envelope of taco seasoning (trader joes brand is tasty)
5-6 boneless skinless chicken breasts
1 jar of salsa (trader joes salsa autentica is my fav)
I put the salsa and seasoning together in a bowl to make sure it was well mixed, put the chicken in the crock pot then poured the mixture over the chicken. Cook on high 5-6 hours and voila! It's done and ready to shred.
