Salad Dressing

This summer I have really been obsessed with making salads and my own dressing. Here are two dressing recipes that I have made over and over again. Both are super easy to make and very tasty!

Caesar Salad Dressing:

6 cloves garlic
1 tbsp dijon mustard
1 tbsp vinegar
2 tbsp mayo
1/2 cup olive oil
lemon juice
anchovy paste - optional

I just throw all the ingredients into the food processor and it's ready to eat

Green Dressing
(I don't remember the official name nor where the recipe came from)

1 tbsp green onion
1 tbsp chives
a splash of olive oil
1 clove garlic
1 cup plain yogurt
1/4 cup mayo

First throw the green onion, chives, garlic and olive oil into the food processor to chop it all up. Next put in the yogurt, mayo, salt and pepper and mix until green. Once all mixed it is ready to be consumed! (my favorite part of course)

  1. what kind of vinegar in the first recipe? we only have limes here...think that will be weird?

  2. i just used red wine vinegar because thats all i had on hand at the time and it was fine. try the lime! you never know...it might be delicious!

  3. ok. will do! Hey, are you on pinterest? I just found some yummy recipes. Chocolate banana bread. Uh huh. Sugar doughnut muffins. Yes please. Lime-Cilantro dressing. I'll take some of that.
